(Phoenix, AZ, 10/27/18) – The Arizona Muslim Alliance (AMA), today expressed solidarity with the Jewish community in Pittsburgh and nationwide following a deadly attack on a synagogue in that city. In a statement, AMA’s Chairperson Kristy Sabbah said:
“We condemn this attack and offer sincere condolences to the loved ones of all those who were killed or injured in this horrific crime. We want to express our solidarity with the Jewish community both in Pittsburgh and locally. We must, together as a community, fight back against the rise of anti-Semitic rhetoric that is widespread in today’s society”. The Arizona Muslim Alliance is urging all houses of worship and faith-based and organizations to take extra safety precautions following today’s attack.
