About RTF
The Refugee Task Force (RTF) was initiated under the AMA umbrella in September 2021 to manage and coordinate the Arizona Muslim community’s response to the nation’s Afghan resettlement project. The RTF consists of representatives from more than 20 Muslim non-profit organizations between Phoenix and Tucson. The task force mobilizes AMA's member organizations to efficiently and effectively aid resettlement needs of refugees.
